What Brivi does

Why we built it
Typing breaks flow. Toggling between apps breaks focus. We wanted a way to capture ideas in the moment and make them searchable, without clutter or privacy risks.
Our principles
- Privacy by default: We collect the minimum needed to make features work. No selling data.
- User control: Pause anytime, denylist sites, edit/export/delete your notes.
- Local-first feel: Fast, responsive UI with local history for quick recall.
- Security: Encrypted in transit, per-user access controls, sensible retention.
- Clarity over features: Every feature must reduce friction or we don’t ship it.
How Brivi works
- You start recording. 2) Audio is sent securely for speech‑to‑text and discarded after processing. 3) The transcript pastes where you ask or is saved as a note with optional page context. 4) Your notes sync to your account so they’re available everywhere.
